The Overdose Prevention Site (OPS) provides a place where people who use drugs can be safely monitored and treated immediately if they overdose.
The site is operated by trained staff who provide safer drug use supplies such as pipe mouthpiece and screens, and injection supplies. Visitors can also access safer sex supplies including condoms. Staff offer confidential testing and training to detect contaminants and provide opioid users with free take home naloxone (Narcan) kits. Safe and easy to use, Naloxone can reverse the effects of overdoses in minutes from opioids like fentanyl, heroin, methadone, morphine, and oxycodone.
Our team can also connect people to health services, including primary care, mental health and substance use treatments.
