Lori Pyne

Lori is a community-focused leader with a background spanning community service, social enterprise, organizational leadership, and board governance. As Executive Director of Squamish Helping Hands Society, she leads in a complex environment focused on housing, health, food security,  and community wellbeing across the Sea to Sky Corridor.

At the heart of Lori’s leadership is a belief that meaningful change is built through relationships, trust, and collaboration. She works closely with Boards, municipalities, health authorities, Indigenous partners, first responders, government, donors, and frontline teams to navigate increasingly complex social realities to create stronger, more connected communities.  Currently serving as Vice Chair of Housing Squamish, she bridges her experience from Whistler Chamber of Commerce and Vantage Point as a board member.

Known for bringing people together around shared purpose, Lori combines strategic thinking with practical experience and a compassionate, values-based approach.  Her strong connection to the land and her family is what supports her ability to thrive.
