We are more than just a shelter
we are a community.

We are always in need of items to keep people warm, dry, healthy and comfortable.

Hygiene Bank Guidelines

We believe that everyone has the right to feel clean. It is a matter of dignity. When donating, a good rule of thumb is to only donate what you would happily gift to a friend.

We prefer to receive new, unused and unexpired items.

For hygiene reasons we can only accept new, unopened and not expired:

  • toothbrushes
  • toothpaste
  • floss
  • mouthwash
  • razors
  • bars of soap
  • deodorant
  • cotton pads/balls
  • tampons
  • combs and brushes
  • make up
  • nail clippers

We will accept donations of shampoo, conditioners, body wash, sunscreen, lotions, if they are at least half full, still in the original bottle/package, and not expired.

We will accept open packages of menstrual pads and incontinence pads, as long as they are individually wrapped. If you have a mostly full box of tampons that are individually wrapped and in the original box/package that has an expiry date (and they are not expired) we can accept this donation.
