SEA TO SKY SAFETY NET

Sea to Sky Safety Net is a local mental health, substance use, crisis and basic needs support resource.

SQUAMISH CAN (CLIMATE ACTION NETWORK)

Squamish CAN is a community action group for those who dream of building a sustainable future for Squamish. We are all volunteers involved in very exciting projects aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of our community

Community Health Services, Squamish

Squamish Community Health Centre is part of the Sea-to-Sky community health. There is a home health dietitian and a public health dietitian available throughout the Sea-to-Sky corridor.

Squamish Food Bank

The Squamish Food Bank AKA ‘The Market’ at Under One Roof, provides safe, dignified and secure access to nutritious food for all in times of need by offering ongoing food distribution.

Healthy Pregnancy Outreach Program (HPOP)

Also known as the Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program, HPOP is a free program designed to assist women in maintaining good health and having healthy babies.

HOWE SOUND WOMEN'S CENTRE

A single access point for crisis support, resources, referrals and advocacy for women and their children.

MEN'S SHED

The shed is a “workshop away from home” where senior men can: Use tools and equipment to repair household items, share a laugh while sharing skills with other men, learn some new handyman tricks, give back to community through group projects, and borrow tools from the tool lending library.

MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION SERVICES - SQUAMISH

This community service provides: assessments, treatment planning, urgent response services, short-term counselling, employment and education support, referrals to other supports and resources such as detox and treatment centres, and psychiatry.

NEEDLE EXCHANGE

To access this service, call 604-892-4364 or come to the Needle Exchange at Squamish Community Health (1140 Hunter Place) on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 am-12 noon. All services are free and confidential.

PEARL'S VALUE AND VINTAGE

Pearl’s Value & Vintage addresses three distinct needs within the community: 1) Selling gently used clothing, furniture, and household goods. 2) Giving clothes and other necessities to people in need, both directly and through other non-profit organizations in the Sea-to-Sky corridor. 3) Providing work experience and training to women in transition.
